2026 Agenda

The WFIC 2026 program will span new trends, best practices, and thought leadership in the financial information space. Attendees will leave with actionable ideas, a strong network, and a new sense of direction about the industry and the future. The program includes a mix of panels, real-life examples, research, and keynotes. Attendees will have track choices like the ever-popular Engineering Stream, interactive roundtables, and plenty of networking opportunities throughout their time at WFIC.

Join fellow conference attendees as you discover Copenhagen’s culture & heritage! Roskilde Cathedral is a majestic Gothic cathedral and a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is the largest Cathedral in Denmark & the burial place of Danish kings and queens and offers an impressive collection of Gothic architecture. The Viking Ship Museum in Roskilde is known for its five authentic Viking ships, which have been carefully restored and are displayed in a large, light-filled hall.

Castle of North Zealand Tour with Lunch

Frederiksborg Castle is the largest Renaissance Castle in Scandinavia and is often referred to as the Nordic Versailles. Since 1878 Frederiksborg Castle has housed the Museum of National History. Fredensborg Palace is one of the Danish Royal Family’s primary residences, beautifully located by Esrum Lake. Built in the 18th century, it is known for hosting royal events and state visits. The surrounding baroque gardens feature sculptures and walking paths, and the private palace gardens are also the resting place of Prince Henrik, whose ashes were laid there. Minimum number of seats available and we expect to sell out quickly so reserve your spot early!

8:30 - 2:00 p.m. Copenhagen City Tour
8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. (Tentative)

Join fellow conference attendees on this guided tour which provides an introduction to Copenhagen’s royal history and most iconic landmarks. The tour begins with a transfer from Tivoli Hotel to Rosenborg Castle, where guests will enjoy a guided visit through King’s Garden, the castle, and the treasury housing the Danish Crown Jewels. The tour continues with a panoramic bus sightseeing through central Copenhagen, passing highlights such as Christiansborg Palace, Kongens Nytorv, and Nyhavn Harbour. Guests will then visit Amalienborg Palace to experience the traditional Changing of the Royal Guards. After the ceremony, guests will have free time to enjoy lunch at nearby cafés or restaurants. The tour finishes with additional sightseeing, including a photo stop at The Little Mermaid and a scenic drive past Langelinie, Kastellet, and Tivoli Gardens, before returning to Tivoli Hotel or the city centre.

Note: Lunch is not included in the registration fee. Certain portions require some walking.

Culinary Tour & Tastings

Ready to taste some of the best food in Copenhagen – known as one of the best gourmet cities in the world? Satisfy your cravings for local food and culture with highlights along the way, together with a foodie host. From yummy must-tries like traditional Danish hotdog and Danish cheese to unique dishes typical of the city such as Danish pastry; you’re in for a treat, so bring your appetite. This culinary tour in Copenhagen is a cultural journey that takes you further than the food you’ll eat. As you enjoy authentic local bites ranging from savory, sweet as well as drinks, you’ll also discover the city and its highlights. Stop to admire the City Hall Square, Torvehallerne, and The Round Tower and hear about their local relevance from your host as you hop from one food hot spot to the other.

Note: This tour is mostly a walking tour with bus transportation from the Tivoli to the meeting point and return at the conclusion. Dress accordingly and wear comfortable shoes!
