Scott Fitzpatrick, Global Head, TraditionData, and CEO, Tradition SEF
Scott Fitzpatrick joined Tradition in July 2012 as Managing Director of Strategy and Business Development, becoming CEO of Tradition SEF in early 2014 following its establishment under new regulatory requirements. He is directly responsible for Tradition’s SEF business across all asset classes and has helped make Tradition SEF one of the market’s leading swap platforms.
Scott is also global head of Tradition’s market data business, TraditionData, where he drives strategy for delivering continuous, cross-asset OTC pricing and liquidity insights to leading financial institutions globally.
Scott sits on the Board of the Wholesale Market Brokers Association Americas (WMBAA), liaising with US and international regulators on OTC swaps market structure and liquidity, and also serves on Tradition’s U.S. Management Committee and several other boards.
At WFIC, Scott looks forward to discussing what round-the-clock trading really demands of intermediation venues and market data providers. As market participants push for access beyond traditional hours, the ability to deliver accurate, consistent, and high-quality pricing across time zones becomes central to how liquidity is found and risk is managed. Drawing on TraditionData’s expertise in providing continuous global market data, Scott will share his perspectives on the practical realities behind extended trading hours and what they mean for market data providers and users.
