Julie Winkler, Chief Commercial Officer and Senior Managing Director, CME Group

Julie Winkler has served as the Chief Commercial Officer of CME Group since 2016. She leads the company’s sales, product marketing, research and product development, data services, retail business, innovation lab, and international business. Over the past several years, she has focused on modernizing CME Group’s commercial engine through a client-and data-focused lens and driving the adoption of AI across the enterprise. She is part of the CME Group’ s Management Team and the Diversity & Inclusion Executive Committee, where she is the Sponsor of CME’s Employee Resource Groups. She began her career at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) as a Staff Investigator and performed numerous roles across the commercial business.

Ms. Winkler holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Valparaiso University and an MBA in Finance and Derivatives Markets with Highest Honors from Loyola University Chicago. She currently serves as a Board member for S&P Dow Jones Indices LLC, Vice-Chair of the Board for Valparaiso University, and Chair of the Board for Women in Financial Markets (WIFM).
