The FISD Rising Stars program provides support and targeted activities to newer entrants to the financial information industry. Rising Stars are those newer to the industry by merit of age or a career pivot. For the first time ever, FISD is offering 5 Rising Stars Fellowships which will award recipients with free attendance to WFIC and come with special recognition and responsibilities at WFIC. Fellowship winners will speak on the Rising Stars Panel, be recognized during the Monday night awards ceremony, and co-host the Rising Stars Happy Hour Sunday evening.

The 45 applications were blindly screened (no names, companies or pronouns) by the FISD Rising Star steering committee. We are pleased to present Sam Cantor, CME Group; Luisa Kruse, Deutsche Borse; Oksana Soutus, Jordan & Jordan; Christopher Thomas, Scotiabank; and Maggie White, Bloomberg as the inaugural class of FISD WFIC Fellows.

All Rising Stars will be celebrated on Sunday at a Happy Hour, sponsored by Bloomberg, and the Fellowship winners will be recognized in a special ceremony, sponsored by ICE.
