Shai Popat is Head Financial Information a.i. at SIX, leading the Financial Information business and serving financial institutions worldwide with critical data and insights. He brings over 25 years of experience in the data and technology industry and has served in a variety of leadership, business and commercial strategy roles.

Shai started his career in the technology groups of Telerate and subsequently Bridge Information Systems, before spending eight years at Reuters in various content and product strategy roles. He has served as VP of Trading Solutions for ICE, Global Head of Commercial Strategy for IDC and Global Head of Market Data at GFI Group.

Shai is on the board of BITA, an index technology company committed to the provision of high-quality global index solutions.
