Shai Popat is a Managing Director SIX Group, responsible for the product and commercial strategy for the Financial Information business, serving financial institutions worldwide with critical data and insights.

Shai brings over 25 years’ experience in the data and technology industry and has served in a variety of leadership, business, and commercial strategy roles. He started his career in the technology groups of Telerate and subsequently Bridge Information Systems, before spending 8 years at Reuters in various content and product strategy roles. He has served as VP of Trading Solutions for ICE, Global head of Commercial Strategy for IDC and Global Head of Market Data at GFI Group.

Shai is on the board of BITA, an index technology company, which is committed to the provision of high-quality, global index solutions.
