Gerrit Marks, Head of Products & Licensing, Deutsche Börse Group

Gerrit Marks is Head of Products & Licensing at Deutsche Börse Group, where he leads the commercialization and development of market and reference data within the Market Data + Services segment. He oversees global data dissemination, licensing and pricing, and his team enables global access to high-quality data from over 30 venues and providers, supporting a global client base through different distribution platforms and solutions.

His team focuses on evolving data products, licensing models, and partnerships to meet increasing demand for high-quality data in advanced use cases, including AI-driven analytics and automation.

Prior to joining Deutsche Börse in 2019, Gerrit held multiple roles within a German bank’s capital markets division, spanning structuring, exotic derivatives trading, and digital transformation initiatives.

He holds a Master’s degree in Business Mathematics from the Technical University of Dortmund.
