As Capital markets Industry leader at Microsoft, Rupesh leads the vertical Industry strategy, GTM and solutions sales across Financial markets infrastructure, sell-side and buy-side segments, partnering with Microsoft’ strategic clients. His team is responsible for Industry sales in Americas, partnering with clients on their digital and business model transformation journeys via nex-gen cloud, data & AI platforms. Rupesh brings over 25 years’ experience in enterprise fintech and global financial markets. Rupesh spent several years with CITIL, initially a Citi Venture backed global core banking and capital markets software firm through to its subsequent IPO and acquisition by Oracle and held multiple senior roles in business development, consulting, product strategy, partner solutions and strategic alliances. Prior to that, Rupesh was an Investment banker and post-trade platform business leader. He is a speaker at leading Capital Markets forums and also serves as limited partner in early/growth stage venture capital and an advisor to multiple startups in Fintech and AI.
