Jude Osa, VP, Market Data Engineering, Goldman Sachs

Dr. Osa is a seasoned technologist with over 15 years of software engineering experience, specializing in the capital markets space. He currently leads the global Ticker Plant Services pillar of Real-time Market Data Engineering at Goldman Sachs. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Dr. Osa was a VP of Market Data Services at Numerix LLC in New York. While at Numerix, he single-handedly architected and built the Numerix Market Data (NxDM) Platform from scratch using various AWS technologies, which supported the Numerix Managed SaaS product. Before Numerix, Dr. Osa worked at BroadPeak Partners Inc. in New York as a Senior Architect. At BroadPeak, he designed and built cross-asset exchange integration applications as cloud-based services for clients. Prior to that, Dr. Osa was an AVP at Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) in London. At BAML, he developed applications to support electronic trading, risk management, and pricing analytics. Earlier in his career, Dr. Osa was a Senior Quantitative Developer at Altera Partners in London, where he researched and developed trading strategies and risk management solutions. Dr. Osa holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering and a master’s degree in Microelectronics Engineering and Semiconductor Physics both from the University of Cambridge, UK. Dr. Osa’s interests include software automation, building self-healing reactive systems, high-performance distributed systems, AI/ML, and Blockchain applications.
