WFIC@siia.net is available for any and all questions.

WFIC is a member’s only event. Non-member individuals from financial institutions will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Contact wfic@siia.net for more information.

While the program officially begins on Sunday, October 11, we encourage attendees to arrive a few days early to build in time in case of travel disruption, enjoy group tours, and connect with other delegates. Over 700 delegates will arrive by Sunday afternoon, so the planned weekend group tours and casual networking in and around the city help establish connections you’ll take with you through and beyond WFIC.

You will receive an email confirming your registration. You can contact wfic@siia.net or James Gerald jgerald@siia.net if you have any questions.

Email us at WFIC@siia.net or jgerald@siia.net to change any reservation details.

October in Copenhagen is generally overcast and mild to cool. But while sunshine is low, October is considered the peak season for hygge (coziness) in Copenhagen, allowing for pleasant, crisp, and sunny autumn walks on the clearer days. See the below table for typical weather.

FISD has several weekend events and tours you can register for. The tours cost an extra fee that can be added on at the time of registering, but the events during the course of WFIC are complimentary. Here are some articles you can read to find more to do in the area:

The dress code is business casual for all on-site events at the hotel, and casual for all off-site events.

FISD has set up a discounted room block at the Tivoli Hotel, the conference venue. There are many other hotels in the area.

Copenhagen has an extensive, safe, and efficient public transport system. The Metro operates 24/7, with lines connecting the city center to the airport (M2) and a City Ring line (M3/M4). You can also use Uber or download one of the taxi apps: Dantaxi, Taxa4x35, or Viggo.

Depending on your plans, the Copenhagen Card may be a good fit. It includes free public transportation and access to many exhibits and museums.

There will be an official WFIC app, launching two weeks before the conference. You can use it to set your agenda, connect with other attendees and chat on the social wall.
