8:30am – 4:00pm (Tentative): iPad Scavenger Hunt & Brewery Tour *Optional Event/Additional Fee of $125 USD Required

Enjoy a full day of networking with colleagues as you experience the culture and history of Prague!

After a short briefing, the group is divided into small teams. Each team gets an iPad with game instructions.  Every team follows instruction on the iPad and answers the questions related to Prague and the Czech Republic. In addition to that, the teams use iPad for video making of the Czech language lessons, sing a song competition, use map to navigate to bonus checkpoints, use a digital compass and make photos during the game.

Next Stop is the U Fleku Brewery where lunch will be served before taking a tour of the Brewery.

There are far more than 100 breweries in Czech Republic and several dozens of them in the category of Small or Micro. Most of their production is not possible to buy in supermarket chains or most of pubs in the country. So for those who want to taste some of the most special, unique and not common beers of this country we have good news. You will taste one from the most special ones at U Fleku Brewery. This brewery is one of few breweries in Central Europe which has been brewing continuously for over 500 years.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 16

8:00 am – 3:00 pm: Prague City Tour (Tentative) *Optional Event/Additional Fee of $50 USD Required

Join fellow conference attendees as you are guided through the fascinating sights of Prague!

Note: Certain portions require some walking.  Lunch is NOT Included.

Follow our guide and let the city, where there is a secret to discover behind every single corner, enchant you!

The first highlight is the Old Town Square, providing a dazzling Panorama – stand in the middle and turn in a slow circle: it’s as if all the most charming city streets of Europe were stretched around you.  Every building is different in every detail – the elegant tower of the Old Town Hall, the proud silhouette of the fairytale Týn’s Church, the monumental Church of St. Nicholas and countless multicolored houses of many styles lend this place a unique atmosphere.

Strolling through the cozy streets, you come to the Charles Bridge. It is the oldest Prague Bridge built in 1357.  Cross the bridge and come to Mala Strana, or “Lesser Quarter” which is certainly no less of a beautiful part of town.  It is a maze of narrow cobbled-stoned streets with a multitude of cafes, restaurants and shops, ideal for one-hour stop for lunch on own.

After a break for lunch, we walk through a splendid Wallenstein Garden to the pick-up point for transfer up to the Prague Castle. Today, the castle is, in first place, the residence of the head of state, a magnificent gallery, and also a treasury. Prague Castle illustrates a thousand years of development of the European architecture – it is devoted to gardens and fountains, towers and churches, palaces and summer houses. The Castle Complex is the largest one in the world!

The guests are transferred back to the hotel after the tour.

Minimum number of seats available and we expect to sell out quickly so reserve your spot early!

8:30 am – 12:00 pm: Jewish Quarter Tour (Tentative) *Optional Event/Additional Fee of $65 USD Required

Join fellow conference attendees as you are guided through the fascinating sights of the Prague Jewish Quarter!

Note: Certain portions require some walking.  Lunch is NOT Included.

The present shape of the Prague Jewish Quarter is the result of an extensive reconstruction carried out around 1900 in which only a few significant architectural relics of the thousand-year-long history of the Prague Jews have been preserved. The visit to the Jewish Quarter includes the following:

  • Maisel Synagogue: built in 1590-1592, exhibits the first part of the history of Jews in Bohemia and Moravia.
  • Pinkas Synagogue: founded in 1479 by Rabbi Pinkas, after WWII it has served as a memorial to all the 77,297 Jewish Czechoslovak victims of the Nazis. Their names are inscribed on the walls.

  • Old Jewish Cemetery: established in the first half of the 15th century and is one of the most important historic sites in Prague Jewish Town. The oldest tombstone dates from the year 1439.

  • Old-New Synagogue: known as the oldest preserved synagogue in Central Europe.
  • Spanish Synagogue: its remarkable interior decoration features a low stucco arabesque of stylized Islamic motifs, which are also applied to the walls, doors and gallery balustrades.

Minimum number of seats available and we expect to sell out quickly so reserve your spot early!
